Christopher Blank’s philosophy is all about creating functional furniture that is loved for a lifetime and passed down through the generations. We believe that everyone, family, duo, trio – hell who cares if it’s just, you! – should own that that special piece that holds sentimental value. Like the table that reminds you of that one Christmas dinner when your Uncle Dave came back as Aunty Diana…it was a confusing time for your newly introduced fiancé. But the table setting looked great!
We start with a blank page, and take inspiration from you, our clients. Nothing is out of the question (except replicate other work – we won’t do that), and we’ll take you on the furniture-making journey with us. Whether you know exactly what you want and come in with your sub-par sketches, or you have no idea what the perfect chair looks like…but you want it, we’ll help you get there and collaborate to custom-create a piece that is uniquely you.
We’ll bend over backwards, (Christopher is very flexible) to retain an original aesthetic for you and our furniture portfolio. From shop fit-outs and floating drawer units to shoe cabinets and dining room tables, if you can think of it we can custom create it.

Brief: GO FOR IT.
Freedom at its finest and what we seriously live for (does that make us sad people?). We got free-range to make this house a home and fill it with Christopher Blank goodness. Custom-made pieces everywhere!!!
One of our favourite jobs to date. Why you ask?
Because, whiskey and walnuts. A cabinet made for whiskey, Made out of Walnut timber. There’s a secret lock so you can keep children, teenagers, friends and loved ones away. THE WHISKEY IS ALL OURS. We even hand delivered this custom old soul all the way to Adelaide to make our clients birthday.
Labyrinth;
any confusingly intricate state of
things or events. And that’s exactly what this custom-built timber shelving was. Made for a client with a clear vision and a very steep driveway, to fit into a cathedral ceiling. Our calves don’t like talking about this much, so shhh.
A feeding chair for friends welcoming a new member to the wolf pack. No chairs would do for them, so we decided to custom-make the ultimate feeding, nursing, sleeping and occasional mental breakdown chair. Featuring a straighter back rest so it’s easy to get in and out of, with durable leather so small gremlin grubby hands can’t scratch.
What do they say about a custom cabinet that goes by many names? A very useful cabinet. Buffet, console, keeper of items that need to be hidden or shoved away. This robust timber beauty can be displayed in many ways. Also a fun fact; getting her up to the third floor, over a balcony was vomit, tear and general panic attack inducing.
A BIG JOB.
We could leave that there but we won’t. A whole lotta custom-sized furniture for a commercial furniture fit-out. Timber tables, benches, desks, stoops and stools. If you love wood, you’ll love this fit-out.
